OVERVIEW

Editorial redesign of Cosmopolitan that repositions the publication through a bold, typography-driven visual identity. The project shifts focus from collage-heavy layouts to a more structured and expressive editorial system.

STRATEGY

Create a more contemporary and visually striking magazine by placing typography at the center of the design while maintaining the energetic, playful tone associated with Cosmopolitan.

APPROACH

Developed a refreshed editorial identity including cover design, feature spreads, and a cohesive typographic system. Designing layouts that prioritize hierarchy, expressive headlines, and vibrant color, using celebrity imagery as the focal subject, allowing type to drive composition across pages.

OUTCOME

A dynamic and cohesive editorial system that elevates typography as the primary visual language, resulting in a more modern, engaging, and visually impactful magazine experience.
